The Double-layer Balaclava by PowerPak is ergonomically constructed. It fits close to the skin and provides optimum protection. The industrial-grade balaclava is suitable for heavy-duty work and protects against hazards pertaining to risk category 3. This safety accessory has been constructed from a breathable, flame-resistant fabric that will not melt, drip, or ignite at high temperatures. With an ARC rating of 32.4 Cal/cm2, the balaclava reflects its utility as a protectant against second or third-degree burns. It features a flat-lock seam for comfort when worn under a hard hat. This universal size balaclava has passed rigorous testing standards of NFPA 70E-2012, ASTM F1506-10a, ASTM-F2178-1, and OSHA 29 CFR1910.269.
