When the jobsite demands a stick that gets in, digs deep and holds strong, the Lincoln Electric Fleetweld® 5P+® E6010 electrode in size 1/8-inch by 14-inch (50-lb can) delivers. This rod is built for welding mild steel across utility, infrastructure and plant-maintenance environments where you’re dealing with dirty, painted or galvanized surfaces and you’ve got to move quickly. With its cellulosic coating and AWS A5.1 E6010 classification, this electrode provides deep arc penetration and a stable arc, which means you can trust it for root passes, pipe joints, square-edge butt welds and overhead or vertical work.
It works in all positions and is optimized for DC electrode positive (DCEP) connection. For the 1/8-in size you’ll typically set your current in the range of about 75-135 amps. American-made and built for field conditions, this electrode keeps slag light and arc interference low, so you waste less time cleaning and more time welding. It’s a go-to for welders doing cross-country pipe work, in-plant fabrication or repair welding where you must perform even when the base metal isn’t ideal.
