The 3M Organic Vapor Cartridge 6001 is NIOSH approved for protection against a wide variety of organic vapors. Each cartridge contains activated carbon granules treated to absorb and eliminate organic vapors from the inhaled air passing through them. The NIOSH-certified filter is used for vapor concentrations of up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with 3M half facepieces and 50 times the PEL with full facepieces. Equipped with a low-profile design, the filter allows an enhanced field of view and comfort. The OV filter is ideal for potentially toxic applications such as batch charging, chemical dispensing, clean-ups, painting, parts cleaning, and seal coating.
