Class 2 Flame Resistant Vest by PowerPak is made from solid GlenGuard modacrylic fabric that is inherently flame-resistant and durable. The fabric makes the safety vest cooler and comfortable without sacrificing protection. It features hook and loop closure and a 2- inch flame-resistant reflective material on the chest and shoulder that augments the nighttime conspicuity of the vest. The yellow color vest has got an ARC rating of 5.4 cal/ cm2. One should wear this safety vest over ARC-rated clothing only. It is advised not to wear this safety vest alone or over non-arc resistant apparel. The protective vest meets NFPA 70E and ASTM F1506 standards.
