The irritant smoke fit test helps detect leakages in respirators by using a person™s response to irritating chemicals released in the smoke produced by irritant smoke (stannic chloride). Detection of irritation or coughing indicates an inadequate fit. Allegro™s Replacement Irritant Smoke Tubes are a component of the Irritant Smoke Test Kit. Each pack contains 6 smoke tubes.
