Working in construction is inherently dangerous. Keeping the people working in the industry safe is our goal, and we know it's your priority. That's why we carry safety gear to protect you in the case of an accident, including trauma relief straps.

Suspension trauma relief straps are used to prevent further damage in the event that a worker falls while suspended in the air. This damage can include suspension trauma, or orthostatic intolerance. Suspension trauma can occur after a person falls but remains suspended at height for even short periods. The person who fell remains harnessed after the fall, partly cutting off circulation where the harness is fitted. This situation can cause blood flow to cease in their legs, leading to unconsciousness or even death.

Trauma relief straps were designed to prevent the pooling of blood in the legs after a fall. They allow the worker to effectively stand on the straps while awaiting rescue, which relieves pressure on the veins and arteries and lets blood circulate normally. Our trauma relief straps attach easily to all harness systems and are reusable.
